Soccer Recap: Colfax Victorious

Colfax lost to Wheatland back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Colfax Falcons won by a goal and slipped past the Wheatland Pirates 3-2. The Falcons better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Zach Green, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Colfax is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those six matches. As for Wheatland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7-2.

Colfax will venture away from home to face off against Oakmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colfax's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Wheatland, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 7-4 loss against Marysville on the 9th.
