On Wednesday, Southwick Regional beat Sci-Tech 3-1.

Southwick Regional was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Pope Francis Prep narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Smith Vo-Tech 3-2.

Pope Francis Prep took Smith Vo-Tech into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-20, 22-25, 26-24, 17-15.

Southwick Regional's record is now 6-8. As for Pope Francis Prep, their record now sits at 8-6.

Southwick Regional beat Pope Francis Prep 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
