The Platteview Trojans will square off against the Ralston Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Platteview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season.

Platteview took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They never let Plattsmouth get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Platteview in their matchups with Plattsmouth: they've now won six in a row.

Platteview's offense was hitting Plattsmouth from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Shaylla Hobbs led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ralston managed to keep up with Concordia until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Ralston lost 3-0 to Concordia.

Platteview's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Ralston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Platteview couldn't quite get it done against Ralston in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can Platteview avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
