Baseball Recap: Windham Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Windham was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They came up short against the Sanford Spartans, falling 15-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Windham now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sanford, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Windham will take on rival Scarborough at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sanford is set to challenge their familiar foe Thornton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
