Central Christian Academy had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They came out on top against the Belle Plaine Dragons by a score of 2-0. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Central Christian Academy took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13.

Central Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Belle Plaine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Coincidentally, Central Christian Academy and Belle Plaine will both be playing Chaparral the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Roadrunners at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Dragons will head out to face them on Tuesday.
