Softball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

The St. Joseph Academy Jaguars came up short against the Springfield Spartans on Wednesday and fell 6-2. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Joseph Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

St. Joseph Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Springfield, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, St. Joseph Academy will host Avonworth at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield, they will face off against Morgantown at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
