Basketball Recap: Thomson Comes Up Short

Thomson entered their contest against Warren County on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Thomson Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to the Warren County Screaming Devils. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Screaming Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Despite the loss, Thomson still got an impressive performance from Jer'Meer Hatcher, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Robertson, who had nine points.

Thomson's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-6. As for Warren County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-6.

Thomson has already played their next match, a 61-59 win against Laney on the 7th. As for Warren County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 47-41 victory against Jefferson County on the 4th.
