Baseball Game Preview: Bogalusa Lumberjacks vs. Franklinton Demons

The Bogalusa Lumberjacks will venture away from home to take on the Franklinton Demons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bogalusa will be strutting in after a victory while Franklinton will be coming in after a defeat.

Bogalusa's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Broadmoor as Bogalusa made off with a 14-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lumberjacks in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Franklinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Iowa, falling 9-2.

Franklinton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bogalusa, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Bogalusa came up short against Franklinton in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, falling 7-2. Can Bogalusa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
