Mansfield put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Franklin Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Mansfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14.

Leading Mansfield to victory were Natalie Peak and Saydi Walker. Peak had 11 digs and three assists, while Walker had 11 assists and three digs. That's the most digs Peak has posted since back in October of 2024. Kylie Meche also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Mansfield's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Franklin, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3.

Mansfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Midway on the 15th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Paschal on the 15th.
