Harrisburg waltzed into their match on Saturday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Douglas Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Harrisburg took both sets by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9.

Leading Harrisburg to victory were Avery Klein and Kennedy Kokenge. Klein had six digs and two aces, while Kokenge had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Klein has posted since back in October of 2024. Mckinnley Munce also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Harrisburg's win bumped their record up to 28-2. As for Douglas, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-25.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Harrisburg will head out to face off against O'Gorman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglas, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sturgis Brown at 7:00 p.m. on November 4.
