Basketball Game Preview: St. Michael's Warriors vs. Antonian Prep Apaches

St. Michael has won seven straight games at home, while Antonian Prep has won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The St. Michael's Warriors will host the Antonian Prep Apaches at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in St. Michael's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 23 contests.

Last Tuesday, St. Michael's earned a 60-52 win over TMI-Episcopal. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Panthers are ranked 176th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Antonian Prep). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 120-43 victory over Savio. The Apaches have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Antonian Prep has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 30-4 record this season. As for St. Michael's, their win bumped their record up to 25-4.
