Basketball Recap: Tupelo's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Tupelo lost against Starkville back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Wave took a 70-53 bruising from the Yellowjackets. The loss put an end to the Golden Wave's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tupelo fell to 2-1. As for Starkville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Tupelo is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Starkville, they will square off against Arlington at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
