Softball Recap: South Lenoir Makes It Ten in a Row at Home

South Lenoir lost to North Duplin last Wednesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. South Lenoir sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over North Duplin. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by exactly two runs.

South Lenoir's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games.
