Volleyball Recap: Robertsdale Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Robertsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Spanish Fort Toros. The Golden Bears were not able to make up for their loss to the Toros from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12.

Robertsdale's offense was headlined by Leah Ponder and Olivia Foy, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Macy Smith and her five assists. Emma Dean controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Robertsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Spanish Fort, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Robertsdale and Spanish Fort will both be playing St. Paul's Episcopal the next time they take the court. The Golden Bears will head out to face the Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Toros will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
