Basketball Game Preview: Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats vs. Three Rivers Bulldogs

The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Three Rivers Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Skidmore-Tynan is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Skidmore-Tynan lost to Pettus on the road by a 52-33 margin.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Port Aransas 88-17. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1690th, while the Marlins are ranked 676th).

Skidmore-Tynan's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Three Rivers, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Skidmore-Tynan skirted past Three Rivers 35-32 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skidmore-Tynan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
