Football Recap: James Island Starts Season with Win at Home

James Island took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-8 win over the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Looking ahead, James Island will be playing at home against Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marlboro County at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
