Basketball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson lost against Silo back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wilson Eagles received a blow as they fell 47-31 to the Silo Rebels. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 16 points.

Wilson has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Silo, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson will head out to face off against Velma-Alma at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Velma-Alma knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Wilson likes a good challenge. As for Silo, they will head out on the road to challenge Coalgate at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
