Soccer Game Preview: Gadsden County vs. Freeport

The Gadsden County Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Freeport Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Gadsden County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Franklin County a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Freeport was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. Neither they nor Crestview could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Gadsden County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three matchups. Freeport's draw gives them a new season record of 5-6-2.
