Volleyball Recap: Sugar-Salem Comes Up Short

Sugar-Salem was the 2-0 winner over Minico when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Diggers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans on Saturday.

Sugar-Salem has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Minico, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Sugar-Salem wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Blackfoot on the 20th. As for Minico, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fruitland on the 20th.
