Basketball Recap: Stockbridge Takes a Loss

Stockbridge lost against Jones County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Stockbridge Tigers took a 67-51 bruising from the Jones County Greyhounds.

Leading Jones County to victory were Aubrey Norris and Mya Anderson. Norris went 8 for 14 to rack up 24 points in addition to five assists and five boards, while Anderson went 6 of 15 on her way to 20 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Norris a new career-high in field goal percentage (57%). Another player making a difference was Desirae Dumas, who posted six points.

Stockbridge's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Jones County, the victory (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 24-1.

As of now, neither Stockbridge nor Jones County have any future games scheduled.
