Volleyball Recap: Meridian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Meridian waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cornerstone Christian Cyclones. For the Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Cyclones walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Alyssa Meisenhelter paced Meridian's offense, picking up seven kills. Meisenhelter were helped by Gigi Pramuk and Julia Meisenhelter, who contributed eight assists each. Amelia Flack controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Meridian has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Mt. Zion on the 13th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Armstrong on the 13th.
