Volleyball Recap: Bryce Valley Takes a Loss

Bryce Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Escalante Moquis. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Moquis this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

While Bryce Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 25-22.

Bryce Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Escalante, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Bryce Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Escalante will challenge rival Milford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
