Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Republic County, as they earned their first road win of the season. They came out on top against Herington by a score of 21-8 on Friday. The Buffaloes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Republic County's victory came down to the chemistry between Nickolas Kendall and his top target Kash Henke. Kendall gained 114 total yards and a touchdown while Henke rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown.
