Little Wound had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Crazy Horse Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chiefs, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Little Wound took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-15, 25-9.

Little Wound's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Crazy Horse, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Wound will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pine Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on October 14. As for Crazy Horse, they will face off against Crow Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
