Volleyball Recap: Burns Comes Up Short

Burns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Torrington Trailblazers. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Friday.

Burns' defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Torrington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-12-2 record this season.

Burns does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Torrington, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Newcastle on the 31st.
