Baseball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Lincoln

While Lincoln put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Tracy. The Trojans walked away with a 3-0 win over the Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on Monday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

The result came thanks to Joey Victor's shutout, as he gave up just five hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lincoln is 8-3 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Lincoln saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bradley Thurman-Swanson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Lincoln's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tracy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tracy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
