Basketball Recap: Reagan Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Reagan waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 65-44 margin over the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Thunder are ranked 753rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Reagan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chris Bravo, who posted 17 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bravo a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ronal Hodelin, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 21 rebounds.

Reagan's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for JC Bermudez Doral, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Reagan will face off against Key West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for JC Bermudez Doral, they will head out to challenge Immaculata-La Salle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
