Volleyball Recap: Model Secondary School for the Deaf Falls Short Against Ranked Maryland School for the Deaf

Model Secondary School for the Deaf is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Maryland School for the Deaf. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Orioles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered against the Orioles since October 18, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Model Secondary School for the Deaf has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Maryland School for the Deaf, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.
