Basketball Recap: Wickenburg Triumphs

On Tuesday, the Wickenburg Wranglers beat the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights 46-35.

Trivium Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Hager, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Hager is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least five every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Luekenga, who had seven points and 13 rebounds.

Wickenburg now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Trivium Prep, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Wickenburg will square off against North Valley Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Trivium Prep, they will welcome St. John Paul II Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
