Football Recap: East Bladen Starts Season with Victory Against Heide Trask

East Bladen had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with an 18-6 win over the Heide Trask Titans. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

East Bladen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dashon Campbell, who rushed for 108 yards and one score. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Lewis, who rushed for 65 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: East Bladen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 275 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, East Bladen will take on West Bladen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Heide Trask, they will square off against East Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
