Basketball Recap: Pawling Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Pawling lost to Pine Plains back in December of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Pawling Tigers walked away with a 63-50 win over the Pine Plains Bombers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Pawling's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0. As for Pine Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pawling will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Salem at 6:30 p.m. on January 21, 2025. After both having extra time off, Pine Plains and Mount Academy will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 5:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Mount Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pine Plains surely won't give up without a fight.
