Basketball Recap: Shady Side Academy Wins Going Away Against Ellwood City

Shady Side Academy extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Ellwood City. They put the hurt on the Ellwood City Wolverine with a sharp 67-46 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Ellwood City lost, don't look at Aaron Lake. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-14 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Servick, who posted four points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Shady Side Academy pushed their record up to 12-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. As for Ellwood City, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
