Cannon is 9-1 against Covenant Day since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cannon Cougars duke it out with the Covenant Day Lions at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Cannon's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Covenant Day's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Cannon, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-11.

Cannon was able to grind out a solid victory over Covenant Day when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 77-65. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Covenant Day's Tyree White, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.
