Soccer Recap: Wasilla Falls Short Against Ranked Lathrop

Wasilla faced Lathrop in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Malemutes by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Wasilla couldn't quite close it out.

Wasilla moved to 9-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Lathrop, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
