Soccer Game Preview: Rosary vs. Trinity

The Rosary Royals will venture away from home to face off against the Trinity Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosary's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rosary's offense. They lost 7-0 to St. Laurence on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Rosary can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 346th, while St. Laurence are ranked 84th).

Meanwhile, Trinity also failed to score in their most recent game. They fell just short of Bloom by a score of 1-0 on Sunday.

Rosary's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Rosary suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Trinity when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Royals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
