Baseball Recap: Willamina Comes Up Short

Willamina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Dayton Pirates, falling 18-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Willamina's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Dayton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

While Willamina had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
