Volleyball Recap: Delta's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Delta waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Delta walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-17.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kinley Davis, who had 18 digs. Those 18 digs gave Davis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sienna Richards, who had seven digs and two aces.

Delta was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 6-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Delta now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Wapahani on the 4th. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Eastbrook on the 1st.
