Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only IC Catholic Prep walked away with it. They took down the Westmont Sentinels 49-32 on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Westmont lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Payeton Pickens, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Kallie Niemer, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

IC Catholic Prep's win bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Westmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-12.

Coming up, IC Catholic Prep will welcome Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
