Bermudian Springs had already won 17 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Friday. They blew past the Wyomissing Spartans 12-2. Considering the Eagles have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Branson Diller spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 13 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dylan Hubbard and Teegan Byers did most of the damage at the plate: Hubbard went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Byers went 3-for-4 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasxyn Stottlemyer, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Bermudian Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive contests.

Bermudian Springs pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Wyomissing, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
