After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Basehor-Linwood, Seaman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lansing Lions 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaelyn O'Rourke spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Avery Phelps was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Lauren Glasgow also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Seaman's win bumped their record up to 4-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Vikings beat Lansing by a score of 10-8 later that day.
