Basketball Recap: Ragland Takes a Loss

Ragland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 78-21 loss at the hands of the Ohatchee Indians. The game marked the Purple Devils' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ragland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Ohatchee, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Ragland will head out to face off against Appalachian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ragland is facing Appalachian at the right time seeing as Appalachian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ohatchee, they will head out on the road to take on Westbrook Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westbrook Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Ohatchee likes a good challenge.
