Softball Recap: Northeastern Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Northeastern took on Central York on Wednesday. The Bobcats lost 21-3 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Northeastern saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ree Strunk, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Central York, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Northeastern will venture away from home to take on Mechanicsburg at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Central York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
