Volleyball Recap: Hillsdale Academy Takes a Loss

Hillsdale Academy was the 3-0 winner over Lumen Christi Catholic when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Hillsdale Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-19.

Elizabeth Creger paced Hillsdale Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Creger got some help from Elizabeth Andaloro and her 15 assists. Andaloro was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hillsdale Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-10-1. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-15-2.

Hillsdale Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Grass Lake on the 28th. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they will square off against Northwest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
