Volleyball Recap: Grandview's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Grandview entered their tilt with Smoky Hill on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffaloes, too.

One reason for the win was Grandview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-17, 25-15.

Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Smoky Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grandview will challenge rival Cherry Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Smoky Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Overland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
