Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ascension). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Lake Arthur Tigers 83-45. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 25 points or more this season.

East Ascension is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Lake Arthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-19.

East Ascension will host Denham Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Denham Springs' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
