Basketball Recap: Dillingham Comes Up Short

Dillingham lost against King Cove back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dillingham Wolverines fell to the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies 50-46. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly four points.

Michael Chase Gould was nothing short of spectacular for King Cove: he posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen Larsen, who scored ten points.

This is the second loss in a row for Dillingham and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for King Cove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.

Dillingham will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Unalaska on February 7th. As for King Cove, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-47 win against Koliganek on the 24th.
