Volleyball Recap: Lockwood Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lockwood took on Diamond on Thursday. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Lockwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-8, 25-23.

Asa Lasater paced Lockwood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lasater got some help from Gracyn Clawson and her 23 assists.

Lockwood's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for Diamond, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-6 record.

Lockwood has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Stockton on the 11th. As for Diamond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against El Dorado Springs on the 11th.
