Baseball Recap: St. Charles North Triumphs

St. Charles North never let their opponents score on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Libertyville Wildcats. The victory continues a trend for the North Stars in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Emerson Miller tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. Charles North is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-5 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mason Netcel, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. That double was his first of the season.
