Volleyball Game Preview: Grafton Gators vs. Wachusett Regional Mountaineers

The Grafton Gators will head out to square off against the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Grafton came up short against Westborough and fell 3-1. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grafton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Wachusett Regional suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Shrewsbury.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-7, 25-18.

Wachusett Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Grafton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Grafton suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Wachusett Regional in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
