Recap: Hicksville Aces vs. Fairview Apaches
The Hicksville Aces were the 32-31 winner over the Fairview Apaches when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Hicksville received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 56-39 to Fairview.
When it comes to explaining why Hicksville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braxztyn Heisler. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bronson Graber, who scored 7 points.
Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Hicksville will look to defend their home court on Monday against Montpelier at 7:30 p.m. As for Fairview, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
